Electrical and Controls Engineer
We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, and results-driven Electrical and Controls Engineer to join a collaborative and supportive team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a degree in electrical engineering to grow and advance into a licensed electrical engineer position.

Responsibilities
The Electrical and Controls Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Designing low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, and other electrical/control systems for industrial, commercial, and manufacturing facilities.
- Developing industrial, commercial, and manufacturing control systems, including plant-wide integration of PLC and network hardware, interconnections, and control panel design.
- Performing electrical and control engineering tasks such as design, drafting, engineering calculations, and preparing specifications.
- Working under the mentorship of a senior engineer on comprehensive electrical and control design packages, including diagrams, plans, details, panel arrangements, bills of materials, and hazardous area classifications.
- Managing assigned electrical and controls work packages, coordinating with other disciplines and drafting teams, and prioritizing deliverables while remaining adaptable to changing project needs.
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients, both verbally and in writing.
- Participating in fieldwork for engineering surveys and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 1-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in design and drafting using AutoCAD or MicroStation (or both) .
- EIT (FE) certification but not required. A commitment to taking the FE or PE exam in the near future is essential.
