Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCURIS System is a growing Bio-decontamination company specializing in integrated systems for the Life Sciences, BioPharma and Healthcare facilities and installing bio-decontamination equipment nationwide. We are currently seeking a Controls Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of:
- Design and operation of controls, using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI), including designing, creating, and troubleshooting these systems.
- Low and high-voltage basics
- and international wiring standards and able to ensure compliance with UL (Underwriters Laboratories) standards for electrical safety.
- Soldering techniques for electrical components and systems.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities
- Design, install and configure PLC and HMI systems to operate communicate and operate with decontamination equipment. Assemble and wire low-voltage control panels according to provided schematics and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and improve control panel designs and assembly processes.
- Design, develop, and install electrical systems and components to required specifications.
- Create wiring diagrams and schematics, completing the wiring as specified, ensuring compliance with wiring standards and UL standards.
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly.
- Test and troubleshoot control panels to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Analyze electrical systems and schematics for potential improvements or troubleshooting.
- Up to 25% travel to customer sites required.
