Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to design and implement electrical control systems for various applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, and control systems, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for electrical equipment and machinery.
- Create and review electrical schematics and control panel designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Program PLCs and HMIs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support robotics, motion control, and automation projects.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and documentation for control panel manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including UL and NEC regulations.
- Implement and optimize servo motion systems and vision systems for enhanced functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design.
- Familiarity with control panel design and UL standards.
- Experience with Allen Bradley systems and automation technologies.
- Proficiency in electrical schematics and control design using AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of motion control systems and robotics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
