Electrical Controls Engineer opening in Buffalo NY! 

• Salary Range: $100k-$120k+ (DOE)
• Location: Buffalo NY
• Travel: ~5% 
• Remote: No (100% Onsite)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems that meet our operational needs. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and experience with PLC programming and circuit design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control systems for various projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal performance.
• Create and analyze circuit designs for electrical control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and engineering teams.
• Develop documentation for control systems, including schematics and user manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field ( - Not Required).
• Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on control systems.
• Strong proficiency in PLC programming and circuit design - Ideally need someone who can program from scratch or customize programming.
• Knowledge of HMI systems and Controls Engineering is a plus.
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and Ladder Logic programming.
• Experience with AutoCAD for circuit design is .
• Understanding of VFDs, Profinet, and Ethernet communications is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
