Job DescriptionJob Description A day in this role
You roll into the West Chicagoland shop just before 8:00 AM, coffee in hand. By 8:15, you’re laying out components for a new control cabinet that will power a rental packaging machine. Using schematics and redlined prints, you mount terminal blocks, relays, power supplies, and drives, then cut, strip, label, and route every conductor with care. Midday, you perform continuity checks and assist with panel checkout. In the afternoon, you rework an existing panel—clean wiring, a few upgrades—and finish your day by tidying your bench and tools. It’s hands-on work, steady, and satisfying.
