Electrical Construction Manager - £20m M&E Residential Project (SE1)\n\nLocation: London SE1\n Duration: 18 months (initial project)\n Company Turnover: £200m+ p/a\n Sector: M&E Contracting / Residential\n Salary: £325/375 pd (CIS/Ltd)\n\nAbout the Company:\n Our client is a leading M&E contractor with an annual turnover exceeding £200m, delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. They are now seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to join their project delivery team on a prestigious £20m M&E residential development in SE1, London.\n\nThe Role:\n As the Electrical Construction Manager, you will oversee the electrical installation works from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are achieved. You will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors, and the client to deliver a technically excellent and commercially successful project.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage day-to-day electrical construction activities on site.\n\nCoordinate with mechanical and building services teams to ensure seamless delivery.\n\nSupervise subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring works are completed to specification and on schedule.\n\nEnsure compliance with all health & safety standards and site procedures (SMSTS essential).\n\nReview technical drawings and assist in resolving design or coordination issues.\n\nSupport commissioning and handover activities.\n\nMaintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, and quality records.\n\nRequirements:\n\nSMSTS certification (essential).\n\nRelevant electrical qualifications (e.g.
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).\n\nProven experience managing electrical works on projects £10m+ in value.\n\nStrong technical knowledge of residential M&E systems.\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.\n\nAbility to drive productivity, quality, and safety across all site activities.\n\nWhat's on Offer:\n\nLong-term project (18 months minimum) with a pipeline of major London developments to follow.\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nOpportunity to work with a top-tier M&E contractor on landmark residential projects
