Electrical Compliance Manager

Are you an experienced electrical professional with a passion for quality, safety, and compliance? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and hands-on Compliance Manager to oversee all aspects of electrical testing, inspection, and engineering compliance within a well-established engineering services firm.\n\nIn this key role, you’ll work closely with operational teams across all stages of project delivery – from pre-construction through to completion – ensuring the highest standards of installation and compliance are maintained.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\n * Acting as the company’s NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and primary liaison with the NICEIC Area Engineer.\n\n * Carrying out regular site audits to ensure compliance with BS7671 and NICEIC requirements.\n\n * Reviewing and verifying internal and third-party electrical test certification.\n\n * Supporting teams with technical queries, electrical design input, and ensuring robust commissioning and testing practices.\n\n * Managing the upkeep of internal test equipment and overseeing electrical safety in the company’s office environment.\n\n * Contributing to small works project management and supporting the broader business on electrical compliance matters.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).\n\n * C&G 2391 or equivalent in Inspection, Testing & Certification.\n\n * In-depth knowledge of current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).\n\n * At least two years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity, with responsibility for technical standards in electrical work.\n\n * Strong communication and documentation skills with an eye for detail.\n\n * A full UK driving licence.\n\nWhat’s in it for you:\n\n * Competitive salary and benefits package.\n\n * Opportunity to take a senior role within a stable and growing company.\n\n * Autonomy and responsibility in a key compliance role with real impact.\n\n * Supportive environment with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.\n\nReady to take the lead on electrical compliance?\nApply now with your CV to learn more about this opportunity
