You'll play a vital role in ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities\n

- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, carrying out effective fault finding and root cause analysis.
- Maintain and repair PLC-controlled, high-speed production and packaging machinery.
- Work on a variety of equipment including industrial ovens, microwaves, HV transformers, slicers, sealers, metal detectors, and refrigeration systems.
- Support equipment optimisation, machine start-ups, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system.
- Complete detailed shift handovers and engineering reports.
- Support and mentor apprentices and junior engineers where required.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety, food safety, and company procedures.

About You\n
- \n
- Time-served Electrical Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience.
- Strong multi-skilled engineering background.
- Experience within a regulated or high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Good working knowledge of PLCs, automation, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and quality standards.
