Job Title: Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift)

Location: Stourbridge

Salary: £37,000 + Overtime

Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (e.g., 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Type: Full-time, Permanent



About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. Working on a day shift, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all electrical and mechanical systems across the manufacturing/production site.



Key Responsibilities:



* Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery.



* Diagnosing electrical faults and implementing efficient solutions to minimize downtime.



* Working with PLC systems (fault finding and minor programming beneficial).



* Assisting with installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.



* Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.



* Completing maintenance records and supporting audits.



What We’re Looking For:



* Time-served electrician or relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, 18th Edition).



* Strong electrical skills, with a good understanding of mechanical systems.



* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.



* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.



* Knowledge of PLCs and automation systems is advantageous.
