Job Type: Full-time - Nights (Monday-Thursday 7pm-7am)We are seeking a proactive and skilled electrical bias Maintenance engineer to join a Blackburn based Manufacturer who are currently experiencing major growth.



This role is essential for maintaining and optimising production machinery within a successful manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous operations. Day-to-day of the role:



Act as the first responder to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing faults and recording details in the CMMS.

Collaborate with shift crews and day teams to resolve issues, ensuring smooth handover of unresolved breakdowns across shifts.

Execute assigned routines such as motor checks, HMI programming, and maintenance of panel cooling units.

Respond to electrical/control system faults and carry out effective repairs.

Log all activities and labour time in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.

Set up machines to maximise output while maintaining safety systems.

Prepare detailed shift reports with technical recommendations.

Attend shift handovers and highlight training needs.

Promote operator engagement with EAM work requests.Required Skills & Qualifications:



NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.

2-3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and using diagnostic instruments.

Skilled in motor control systems, drives, sensors, and PLC I/O checks.
