A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with a well-established manufacturer to hire an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician. In this role, you'll build precision electrical coils and assemblies using specialized equipment, hand tools, and blueprints in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
Whether your experience comes from electrical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, motor repair, transformer manufacturing, panel building, machine building, or another hands-on electrical trade, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Enjoy

  • First shift schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • $21.50–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience

Your Responsibilities

  • Build precision electrical coils and assemblies using specialized winding equipment and hand tools.
  • Operate and adjust coil winding equipment according to production specifications.
  • Guide conductors by hand while applying tape, spacers, and insulation.
  • Cut insulation and spacers to required dimensions using production equipment.
  • Form coils by hand using soft-face and dead-blow hammers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, production prints, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Perform soldering of wire and busbar connections as required.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to accurately read a ruler and work with fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and production prints.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Soldering experience is a plus.
