Join Axis Automation, where engineers and machine builders team up to design, integrate, and service automation systems for innovative manufacturers. Your mission: bring automation equipment to life through meticulous electrical assembly and wiring.
Impact you’ll make
- Wire and assemble control panels and machine‑side circuits that meet approved designs and customer requirements.
- Maintain clear documentation of changes; communicate issues and progress with the project team.
- Elevate outcomes across cost, quality, and schedule—and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot circuits safely; interpret schematics to resolve faults.
- Improve reliability and throughput with thoughtful poke‑yokes and cycle‑time fixes.
- Travel to install equipment and support runoffs at customer sites.
- Collaborate across departments during build, debug, and runoff.
Growth & support
New to automation but strong in electrical fundamentals? We will train an entry‑level candidate with electrical knowledge who’s eager to learn panel building and machine wiring.
What you’ll need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- : 2 years of electrical experience (equipment building a plus).
- Ability to wire complex mechanical components and control hardware.
- Self‑directed team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to travel.
Technical capabilities
- Reading electrical schematics
- Electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair
- PLC wiring experience
- Electrical/electronic systems

Compensation & benefits
Hourly pay: $20.00 – $32.00, dependent on experience
