Position Overview
The Center Staffing Services (TCSS) is looking for up to 20 Electrical Assemblers for our client, a leading manufacturer of electrical power distribution components and systems, is seeking skilled Electrical Assemblers to support the production and assembly of low-voltage and medium-voltage equipment. This role involves assembling, modifying, and preparing electrical parts, systems, and apparatus while following established techniques, blueprints, and safety standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings alongside verbal instructions for daily assignments.
- Utilize various hand tools and power tools in the assembly of electrical components.
- Align, position, and assemble components including sheet metal, structural steel, and cable tray systems.
- Assemble parts and subassemblies by examining connections for accurate fit and secure fastening.
- Perform drilling, tapping, and mechanical preparation on electrical equipment such as LV/MV motor control centers, switchgear, UPS systems, and similar units.
- Operate material-handling devices including toe jacks, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
- Inspect parts for potential defects including pinholes, chips, dents, or structural issues.
- Position parts and components using templates, layout marks, or precise measurement readings.
- Replace defective components and ensure assembly integrity.
- Assemble and support the development of prototype units as needed.

Shifts open for hire:
5am to 1:30pm M-F, overtime is currently expected, but Saturday and Sunday you will have off
