Job Overview

• Job Title: Fabricator
• Duration: 2 months (possible temp-to-perm)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret schematics and blueprints to lay out wireway, DIN rail, and components on enclosure back plates.
• Fit and assemble parts to populate back panels and enclosures.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies before wiring.
• Use measuring tools such as straightedges, combination squares, calipers, rulers, and templates.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and verify conformance to specifications.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including:
• • Brakes
  • Shears
  • Grinders
  • Drill presses
• Cut, form, punch, drill, and assemble components.
• Follow all safety procedures and operate safety equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and work sequences.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience with drills, taps, punches, and basic hand tools .

Required Skills

• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read measuring tools in both standard and metric units.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
