Key Responsibilities
1. Assembly and Production
· Assemble components, subassemblies, and products following technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
· Align and position parts using templates, measuring tools, and fixtures.
· Use hand tools and power tools to fasten, install, and secure parts and assemblies.
· Install electrical and electronic components and hardware in housings or assemblies using soldering tools and hand equipment.
· Verify assemblies meet specifications by conducting measurements and visual inspections.
· Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues; notify supervisors when additional resources are required.
2. Repair and Diagnostic Tasks
· Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electronic, electrical, and mechanical components.
· Perform soldering, rework, or replacement of defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
· Conduct quality checks after repairs to ensure compliance with specifications and reliability standards.
· Maintain and calibrate soldering and diagnostic tools; report any malfunctioning equipment to supervisors.
