Job DescriptionJob Description
We have an immediate need for an experienced Electrical Assembler / Panel Builder who can independently build industrial control panels from prints with minimal supervision. This is a first shift position, Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm or 7 am - 3:30 pm. The pay range is $32 $35/hr. depending on experience. This position has the potential for temp to hire.
Overview:
- Build, wire, and assemble electrical control panels and subassemblies from prints
- Layout, mount, and wire components accurately and efficiently
- Drill, tap, and prepare enclosures and back panels
- Inspect finished panels for quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Troubleshoot wiring and component issues
Requirements:
- 3+ years of direct experience building industrial electrical control panels
- Proven ability to independently build panels from electrical schematics and BOMs
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Hands-on experience mounting and wiring:

- PLC hardware
- Relays and contactors
- Circuit breakers and disconnects
- Power supplies
- Terminal blocks and wire duct
- Proficiency using hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, and enclosure prep
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and correct wiring errors independently
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical practices and shop safety
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Experience building UL 508A-compliant control panels
- Technical schooling or certification in electrical or industrial controls
- Experience working with PLC-based automation systems
- Manufacturing or OEM equipment experience
Must be able to pass criminal background check.
