Job Description
Our client are specialists in the design and manufacture of aircraft refuelling vehicles and aviation fuelling equipment for both JET A1 and Avgas. Their range includes refuellers, hydrant dispensers, bowsers, and other bespoke fuelling systems supplied to airports and aviation operators across the world.\n\nWith a strong reputation for quality and reliability, they to innovate within the aviation industry, providing world-class refuelling solutions.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs an Electrical Fitter, you'll be responsible for the installation, wiring, and testing of electrical systems on bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles and related equipment.\n\nThis is a hands-on position working on a variety of complex electrical assemblies. Full training is provided, giving you the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within the aviation refuelling sector.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out electrical wiring, assembly, and installation on refuelling vehicles and equipment\n\nWork from electrical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate builds\n\nFit and connect control panels, lighting, sensors, and electrical harnesses\n\nPerform electrical testing and fault finding during and after installation\n\nCollaborate with mechanical fitters and design engineers to meet project specifications\n\nEnsure all work complies with company quality standards and Health & Safety procedures\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience in electrical fitting, wiring, or panel assembly (preferably within vehicle, machinery, or equipment manufacturing)\n\nAbility to interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings\n\nCompetent in fault finding and electrical testing\n\nBasic understanding of Health & Safety practices\n\nFull UK driving licence\n\nDesirable Skills\n\nExperience working on special-purpose vehicles or HGVs\n\nKnowledge of pneumatic or hydraulic control systems\n\nBackground in aviation or ground support equipment (advantageous but not essential)\n\nWhy Join?\n\nFull specialist training and product familiarisation provided\n\nOpportunity to work on unique, industry-leading refuelling systems\n\nEarly Friday finish and great team environment\n\nStable, long-term position with an established UK manufacturer
