Electrical Assembler


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical assembly of industrial machinery, including incoming power wiring
  • Wire control panels, subpanels, and machine-mounted electrical enclosures
  • Connect AC motors, servo motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and operator interface devices
  • Run conduit between machines and enclosures for electrical interconnections
  • Build and wire electrical panels according to schematics and bills of materials
  • Assemble and terminate connectors, including M12, Ethernet, and serial cables
  • Route, bundle, and secure wiring neatly and professionally
  • Perform light fabrication work such as drilling, wire stripping, and crimping
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues during assembly and testing
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Maintain accurate red-line markups on schematics for any manufacturing changes
  • Follow all safety procedures, electrical codes, and company standards

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Assembler, Electrical Technician, or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience wiring industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase power (230V and 480V)
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve electrical issues
  • Proficiency with basic electrical hand tools, including:
    • Wire cutters and strippers
    • Crimping tools
    • Multimeter
    • Screwdrivers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Standing, bending, lifting, and working around industrial machinery are required
