Job DescriptionJob Description
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for the precise assembly and wiring of electrical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of electrical principles, and the ability to use various tools and equipment for assembly and testing.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assembly: Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to assemble electrical systems, including panels, junction boxes, and sub-assemblies.
- Wiring: Cut, strip, and mount wires, connect terminals, and perform sub-assembly and final assembly wiring with high accuracy.
- Component Installation: Install and secure electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and other hardware using specified methods.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, and perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards and collaborate with quality assurance teams.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical assembly equipment.
- Experience with soldering and crimping techniques.
- Familiarity with testing procedures and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work from detailed instructions and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience
