You will use your detail-oriented skills to take responsibility and see projects through to completion.What does the Electrical Assembler is responsible do at SpecSys?Understanding of AC/DC electrical circuits and wiring common to industrial control panels and machineryPerform continuity checks on electrical circuitsTroubleshoot wiring problemsAbility to accurately read/interpret electrical schematics and wiring chartsIdentify appropriate assembly sequences to minimize unproductive timeEnsure products are built and tested to meet customer requirementsIdentify component shortages and coordinate parts tracking with purchasing / material handling departmentCoordinate work load with the assigned project manager to ensure design changes ECO changes are implemented into the overall assembly processAbility to understand and willingness to follow Work Order instructions including sign-off of assembly department dispatchesAbility to understand and willingness to follow existing QC processesProvide input into QC process improvementsWhat do we look for in a quality candidate? Knowledge of designing, using, and repairing machines and tools, computer hardware and software, building machines, and using plans, blueprints, drawings, and modelsMath skills to solve problemsAbility to read and understand written informationCan identify problems and review informationHas the ability to understand and follow detailed drawings, schematics, assembly drawings, customer specifications and assembly proceduresCan lift 75 poundsCan stand for 8 hours plus per dayUnderstands and follows work order instructions including sign-off of assembly department dispatchesUnderstands and follows existing quality control processesHas any combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge for successful performanceMany tasks include their own work and/or the review of work of others in the department.
