New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking an Electrical Assembler for a client located in Conroe, TX to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Pay: $23–$26/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week
Summary:
The Electrical Assembler will play an active role in electrical assembly operations within the production process. Responsibilities include preparing generator sets for testing, performing electrical assembly tasks, and ensuring compliance with work orders, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare generator sets for testing by performing electrical assembly operations prior to test
· Follow work orders and ensure compliance with specifications
· Verify panels and components on the assembly line match the work order and option list
· Assemble special-order options as specified
· Conduct visual inspections of panels and electrical materials; report discrepancies to the supervisor
· Enter production data into the relevant system accurately
· Complete production identification cards for proper tracking
· Notify the manager of materials that need to be returned to the warehouse
· Maintain tools and equipment to prevent deterioration and ensure long-term usability
· Comply with Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) rules
· Participate in training sessions as required
· Report opinions, complaints, and suggestions regarding Workplace, OHS, Environment, and Quality to the department manager
· Identify risks and opportunities in Quality Assurance, Environment, and OHS Management Systems
· Contribute to risk reduction initiatives
· Keep the work area clean and organized during production
· Complete tasks assigned by the manager in line with production targets and deadlines
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· Experience in electrical assembly and high voltage (120V)
· Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documentation
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
· Familiarity with hand tools, machines, and safety protocols
