Youll support mechanical assembly and wiring tasks while contributing to quality, safety, and on-time production.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity located in the Katy, TX area, starting at $19.00/hour.

Youll work in a clean, organized production environment focused on mechanical assembly and wiring operations. The facility emphasizes safety, quality standards, and 6S workplace organization, with clear processes and team support.

This role is based in Katy, TX, with access from surrounding West Houston-area communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly and basic wiring tasks according to drawings and work instructions

• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams to complete assigned work accurately

• Inspect parts and materials for accuracy or defects prior to assembly

• Identify and report quality issues or non-conformances to the Lead or Supervisor

• Troubleshoot assembly issues within assigned scope and escalate unresolved problems promptly

• Ensure required tools and materials are available; report shortages as needed

• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and productivity

• Monitor work areas for safety concerns, equipment issues, and PPE compliance

• Maintain clean, organized workstations in alignment with 6S standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 2 years of experience in electrical assembly

• Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and schematics

• Proficiency using hand tools and basic power tools

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability for assigned work
