Do you want to work on cutting edge Space and Satellite projects and technologies? \n\nOur client is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with high standards to join their existing highly skilled team to support the electrical development of a leading ‘gold standard’ ESA measurement project.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nSupport and perform electrical architecture activities in conjunction with the current electrical architectural project team.\nAssist in the review (electrical and data handling) of supplier data packs and participate in supplier engineering meetings.\nReview and assist updates of the payload specification and lower level electrical equipment and data handling.\nCreate and maintain system block diagrams, electrical interfaces, grounding and isolation, electrical block diagram, switching & TMTC diagrams and modes of operation.\nMaintain ICDs, harness definitions, power budgets & data rates.\nGenerate applicability matrices and jacket requirement documents for Spacewire and WizardLink interfaces.\nSRDB definition and development planning.\nSupport the AIT team in Ground Support Equipment definition.\nManage the development of the instrument control unit with subcontractors.\nMaintaining technical documents throughout the design lifecycle.\nContributing to customer design reviews.Experience, Knowledge & Skills\n\nExtensive mixed signal, analogue and digital hardware experience.\nStrong record with planning and meeting budgets/schedule.\nComfortable managing and working with sub-contractors.\nSpace based instrumentation experience is desirable but not essential.\nExperience in managing complex electronics systems through full life cycle; from requirements to integration.\nESA ECSS standards experience is desirable but not essential.\nA degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering\nExcellent communication skills, able to influence, persuade and negotiate with people at all levels.
