Jomar Electrical Contractors is seeking motivated and dependable 2nd–4th year Electrical Apprentices with an active Texas TDLR Electrical Apprentice License to join our growing team in Midland, Texas.

Applicants must have an active TDLR Electrical Apprentice License and be currently enrolled in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an electrical apprenticeship program. Candidates without the required TDLR license or apprenticeship experience will not be considered.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified apprentices with commercial electrical construction experience who want to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow their careers with an established electrical contractor.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Starting at $25 per hour, based on experience.
• Company-Paid Housing: Housing provided, including meals.
• Daily Per Diem: Additional $25 per workday for eligible employees working out of town. Not available to local employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial electrical installations, including wiring, conduit, lighting, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints under supervision.
• Assist Journeymen and Foremen with daily project activities.
• Follow electrical codes, job specifications, and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Help ensure electrical installations meet quality standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Commercial electrical construction experience .
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, materials, and installation methods.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite in Midland, TX.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors.
