Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice and kick-start your career in the
electrical industry! This paid apprenticeship offers a hands-on learning experience,
where you will work closely with experienced electricians to develop essential skills in electrical systems, installation, and troubleshooting. You will gain exposure to both industrial and commercial electrical environments, contributing to meaningful projects while building a solid foundation for your future in the trade. Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical
systems on construction sites and industrial facilities
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit installation, and
other electrical tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to support
project execution
- Conduct basic testing of electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters and
multimeters to ensure proper functionality
- Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with
NEC ( Electrical Code) standards
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment by managing materials
and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects, including framing
carpentry tasks when needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a
plus but not required
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and basic
electrical theory
- Experience working on construction sites or in construction-related roles is highly
desirable
- Ability to handle low voltage and high voltage systems safely following NEC
guidelines
- Strong attention to detail when using testing devices such as ohmmeters for
circuit verification
- Basic understanding of frame carpentry or related construction skills is
advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
Education:
Enrolled (or willing to enroll) in a school/classes that will help obtain the
necessary amount of classroom hours to test for a PV2 or E2 license.
