Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Controls Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical control systems and automation processes. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems for automated processes.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Conduct system integration and testing of automated systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in industrial automation.
- Create and maintain documentation for control systems and processes, including schematics and user manuals.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on electrical and automation systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical control system design and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI design, and SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with industrial automation principles and practices.
- Experience with networking protocols relevant to industrial applications.
- Proficient in Ladder Logic and Structured Text programming.
- Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
