The Electric Motor Winder specializes in the winding, inspection, testing, and repair of both AC and DC motors, including specialized industrial motors. Operating within a small technical team, this role utilizes semi-automated winding machines and various diagnostic tools to maintain motor performance.

Responsibilities

• Wind electric motors to specified configurations using semi-automated machines
• Inspect motors for defects and wear before and after winding
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing to ensure motor functionality
• Diagnose and repair motor issues efficiently
• Follow safety protocols during all motor handling and testing procedures
• Collaborate effectively within a small technical team environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electric motor winding
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of motor winding techniques and electrical testing
• Mechanical dexterity with attention to detail
• Familiarity with safety protocols relevant to electrical and mechanical work
• Proficient problem-solving skills
• Basic electrical knowledge
