Job Description:
We’re hiring a motivated, hands-on Electric Motor Tech / Trainee to join our team part-time. This is an entry-level role with room to grow into a full technician or rewinder role.
You'll start with the basics: cleaning and disassembling motors, washing parts, painting housings, and making local deliveries. Over time, you'll train to test, reassemble, and eventually repair and rewind electric motors under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Responsibilities:

Disassemble and reassemble electric motors

Wash and prep motor parts

Assist with motor testing and quality checks

Paint motor housings and components

Deliver motors and parts using company vehicle (valid license required)

Train in basic diagnostics and motor rewinding techniques

Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized
Requirements:

Mechanical or electrical aptitude

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Able to lift up to ~50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious

Willing to learn, take instruction, and improve over time

Prior hands-on experience (automotive, shop, electrical, military, or trade school) is a plus
