We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in Terre Haute, IN. This role offers hands-on work with a variety of industrial electrical and mechanical equipment, in a professional shop environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, disassemble, repair, rewind, and test a variety of industrial AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, and related equipment.
- Use precision tools and equipment, including multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers for accurate diagnostics and measurement.
- Perform failure analysis, document findings, and identify replacement parts following proper procedures.
- Reassemble and test equipment to OEM, EASA, and customer specifications.
- Perform both in-house and occasional on-site repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting, repairs, and quality inspections.
- Follow all mechanical and electrical safety practices.
Qualifications Required:
- 2+ years of industrial electric motor repair experience (not automotive motors) or equivalent training (EASA/military ).
- Hands-on motor winding and motor mechanic experience.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic, repair, and testing procedures for electric motors and related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Qualifications:
- ISO 9001 knowledge or certification.
- Additional certifications in motor repair, industrial maintenance, or electrical safety.
