Kelly is Hiring! Electrical Assemblers – Raynham, MA
Schedule: 7:30am to 4pm
Pay: $21–$28 an hour (based on experience)
Join our team as a Robotic Electrical Assembly Technician and play a vital role in manufacturing, assembling, testing, and servicing the navigation systems for our OMNIBotics and Apollo products. You’ll be working with cutting-edge technology in medical robotics, with responsibilities ranging from assembly and production to soldering and wiring harness assembly.
Full training provided to ensure compliance with all manufacturing processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow SOPs and work instructions for assembly in line with demand planning and quality standards
- Complete quality documentation per QMS requirements and ISO30485/GMP standards
- Escalate issues and suggest improvements to your manager
- Train new team members to manufacture and calibrate robotic devices
- Develop and update work instructions and SOPs as technology evolves
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams for process improvements
- Assemble electronic components for Apollo and OMNIBotics devices
- Solder fine wire harnesses, perform panel wiring, and mechanical assembly
- Install software and firmware (Windows/MacOS)
- Inspect assembled systems and devices, calibrate and test systems
- Use multi-meters and specialized equipment to measure voltages, current, and resistance
- Prepare devices for shipping and verify quality compliance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues for units returned from medical centers
- Perform weekly inventory checks in the manufacturing unit
What We’re Looking For
- Electrical engineering qualification ()
- Prior experience as an Electrical Assembly Technician
- Intricate soldering and cable/wire harness assembly experience
- IPC J STD 001 Soldering certification (required)
- Experience with manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong attention to work instructions and detail; zero-error mindset
- Proactive and thorough approach to tasks
- Lean manufacturing mindset
- Ability to train others on documentation and manufacturing practices
- High interest in computer assembly and/or electronics
