Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an EITS Sr. Director and Laboratory Informaticist position for our client in New York, NY.

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Lead laboratory data governance, ensuring integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.

• Oversee system validation for new lab instruments and interfaces.

• Monitor and improve KPIs for lab system functionality and data quality.

• Partner with Project Management to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.

Skills:

• Expertise in laboratory information systems and clinical informatics.

• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft and/or Google Suite applications.

• Ability to establish and enforce data policies and procedures.

Experience:

• Healthcare experience required.

• 5+ years in managerial or leadership roles .

Education:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.

• Board Certification in Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, or combined Pathology.

• Board Certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics (or equivalent experience).

Certification(s)/NYS Licenses:

• Board Certification in Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, or combined Pathology.

• Board Certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics (or equivalent experience).

Special Equipment/Machines Operated:

• Basic computing equipment.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
