The expert will implement adequate supervision and control of the work, in order that all Electrical & Instrumentation activities are executed in accordance with the overall Package schedule. The service provider will have to supervise EPCC Contractors' Electrical & Instrumentation activities, in order that the field activities are completed (AOC reached) as per the Project schedule.

5. Responsibilities and Skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and comment Contractors JSA - Method statements.
- Review and comment on the Contractors' work schedules.
- Plan and monitor the adequacy of Site supervision activities.
- Manage Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisors daily and ensure there is adequate field surveillance of contractor's Electrical & Instrumentation activities.
- Implement the Site Safety Walk, involving the EPC Contractor, and subcontractors' representatives.
- Ensure all Electrical & Instrumentation activities are achieved within schedule and comply with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements.
- Participate in the site progress weekly review.
- Review and comment on the Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
- Address timely any performance deviation with Contractor's superintendents.
- Identify key risks to delivery and ensure adequate risk mitigation or contingency plans are in place and report concerns to the Package Management.
- Manage subsystem and system handover to the Commissioning Team and manage Punch Lists. Comment and endorse completion certificates.
- Attend all meetings related to Electrical & Instrumentation activities as defined by Package Management.
- Plan and participate in periodic Electrical & Instrumentation Audits for the works.
- Monitor audit conformance and expedite corrective actions on deviations and non-compliance on works.
- Interact with HSE and Quality on a weekly basis to address open observations.
- Coordinate with Petchem (operations) the ergonomic reviews on Site.
- Coordination with the Electrical & Instrumentation Managers/superintendents of other Packages to ensure activities are complete on schedule to allow the correct interfaces and interactions to run smoothly.
- Follow up on inspections and testing relating to Quality Control, follow up Inspection work, and manage resulting remedial work demands for Electrical & Instrumentation.
- Provide input on Civil/Structural steel Electrical & Instrumentation to post-project reviews and close-out reports/meetings.

Technical & Domain Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation safety standards.
- Good knowledge of erection work execution.
- Experience in integrated projects and joint venture organizations.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental aspects of major Electrical & Instrumentation projects.

Accountability:
- To ensure that all Electrical & Instrumentation activities are performed in safe conditions and that adequate work risk assessments have been performed before activities start.
- To ensure that the Electrical & Instrumentation area, TCF, and access routes are maintained to the highest level of housekeeping, and that sustainability is recognized as a value within the Electrical & Instrumentation activities.
- To ensure the quality of the Electrical & Instrumentation execution is compliant with the requirements of codes, project specifications, technical referential, contract, international codes, and local regulations.
- To ensure adequate supervision of the Electrical & Instrumentation activities performed by EPCC contractors and their subcontractors.
