EHS Engineer Manufacturing Experience Needed in Plainfield

The EHS Engineer is responsible for providing support to the manufacturing plants. They must engaged with both hourly and salaried employees to ensure a positive safety culture is foster.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Perform detailed incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis, and corrective action determination.

·  Prepare and conduct safety training sessions.

·  Conduct EHS system audits and report on recommendations for improvement.

·  Create and implement safety awareness programs and activities to foster a safety culture.

· Other duties as assigned by Manager

COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree preferably in environmental, health and safety

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 

Extensive knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards in regard to related industry
