eDiscovery Practice Support Project Manager
Responsibilities
The Practice Support Project Manager is responsible for guiding both small and large eDiscovery matters from the initial collection phase through to production.
Job Duties / Technical
- Process documents using RelativityOne, overseeing the workflow to ensure high-quality results.
- Maintain and manage document databases through document review software, primarily RelativityOne, addressing both technical and end-user needs.
- Provide case management and transcript management support utilizing software such as RelativityOne, Opus2, TimeCoder Pro, or equivalent applications.
- Coordinate or perform collections of emails, electronic documents, mobile devices, and social media profiles with tools like Forensic Email Collector, Microsoft Purview, Relativity Collect, PageVault, iExplorer, or similar software.
- Keep thorough records by maintaining logs and chain of custody documentation for all collected materials.
- Deliver trial support using software like Trial Director or comparable programs to ensure effective presentation and management of evidence during trial proceedings.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree is required.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a mid-to-large law firm or an equivalent environment is mandatory.
- Possess expert-level understanding of automated litigation information management, databases, project and case management, litigation support, discovery and evidence management, and imaging management software and systems.
- Relativity Certified Administrator or Certified E-Discovery Specialist is .
- Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, Kofax Power PDF Advanced, iManage/FileSite, and database management or administration systems.
Additional Skills / Essential Functions
- Proficient in using AI technologies and applying them within legal practices.
- Remain updated and familiar with the latest litigation technology issues, applications, and relevant case law.
- Experience in conducting document reviews and providing case and transcript management support using software such as Opus2, Relativity, or equivalent tools.
- Exhibit excellent grammar, spelling, and proofing abilities for both content and context.
- Display strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and sound practical judgment.
- Capable of working independently and, when necessary, delegating tasks to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Show exceptional organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and managing various responsibilities under pressure.
- Be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across the firm.
- Willing and able to travel to other offices as required.
- Meet the physical demands associated with the position as outlined.
- Adapt to last-minute changes and disruptions, and work overtime when necessary.
