OHL Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an OHL Electrical Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Company: International Engineering Company based in KSA

Sector: Power Transmission & Distribution

Duration of Assignment: Direct hire - Permanent

Location: Onshore, KSA

Proposed Salary: SAR per month (all inclusive)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in OHL supervision and inspection.
• Mandatory knowledge of transmission substation systems up to 400kV.
• Familiarity with installation and testing procedures and standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and protocols.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.

Activities:

• Experienced OHL electrical engineer to join our team for supervision works in high-voltage transmission substations up to 400kV. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various substation components and testing protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer overhead line systems (routing, conductors, clearances)
• Perform technical calculations (sag-tension, line performance, safety standards)
• Conduct site surveys and inspections
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety, and quality standards
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports
• Support construction and commissioning activities with technical guidance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in large-scale power generation projects.
