Consultant Ecologist



Location: Gloucestershire



Salary: £27,000 - £40,000



Pebble Recruitment are currently representing a well-established Environmental Consultancy, who are actively seeking an ambitious Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join their ever-growing team based in their Gloucestershire office. Our client has grown rapidly over the years and now has 6 offices across the UK, providing a variety of services to clients and is a true multi-disciplinary. The successful Ecologist will work closely alongside the ecology team in Gloucestershire, assisting with protected species surveys.

Ecologist Position Overview



* Undertaking protected species surveys



* Helping to build tenders and helping to create quotations



* Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc)



* Managing small-medium-sized projects and some large-sized projects with assistance if needed



Ecologist Position Requirements



* 3-8 years of industry experience



* Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field



* 1 protected species license ()



* Hold a full UK driving license



* Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the understanding of how to apply them correctly



* Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management is



Ecologist Position Remuneration



* Competitive salary, ranging between £27,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
