An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ecologist to join a long-established, award-winning environmental consultancy based in Cardiff. This independent multi-disciplinary practice delivers services across major infrastructure, renewable energy, conservation and development projects throughout the UK.



The successful Consultant Ecologist will join a collaborative and friendly team working on a varied portfolio of projects across the public and private sectors. The Consultant Ecologist role will involve undertaking ecological surveys, protected species work, ecological impact assessments, mitigation strategies, reporting and supporting planning applications.

Experience working as a Consultant Ecologist or within ecological consultancy

Strong ecological survey and report writing skills

Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy

Protected species survey experience desirable

Full UK driving licence

Full right to work in the UK

Degree in Ecology or related discipline

CIEEM membership desirable
