Are you an experienced Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician/Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking power business?

We're recruiting for an EC&I Technician to join the maintenance team at a CHP facility in Cumbria, where you'll provide technical support, fault resolution, and ongoing improvement across critical C&I systems.

✅ Key Responsibilities:



Carry out electrical, control & instrumentation maintenance across the plant.



Support site safety schemes, including incident investigations and near-miss reporting.



Ensure all C&I assets comply with HSEQ standards.



Perform fault finding, testing, and system implementation (including SCADA).



Develop and implement engineering procedures, instructions, and method statements.



Provide support during planned and unplanned outages.



Candidate Profile:



Experience in Energy from Waste or power (advantageous).



Open to candidates from heavy process industries (petrochemical, oil & gas, offshore, anaerobic digestion).



Engineers with a Royal Navy background will also be considered.



Recognised EC&I apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation.



Strong problem-solving and technical skills with a safety-first mindset.
