EC&I Construction Manager

Superior Recruitment Group are working with an exciting client based in Reading who are looking for an EC&I Construction Manager to join their team until 23/12/2025.\n\nThis role is a contract position, and is outside of IR35.\n\nStrong NEC Contract Management experience is required\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n * Support the Project Manager as required, ensuring the project is managed effectively and efficiently\n\n * Demonstrating Safety Leadership, delivering the programme safely, ensuring that all EHS&Q requirements are met\n\n * Oversight / Assurance of project progress including timely and accurate reporting\n\n * Build effective project teams and manage resources ensuring adequate levels to meet programme demands and high workforce productivity is maintained throughout\n\n * Identify key project risks, blockers and opportunities and take action to address\n\n * Assess programme of work for viability, priority and required resources to maximise the success of the programme\n\n * Ensuring that suitable commercial control is in place and managed according to client procedures\n\n * Managing the performance of key suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements are applied\n\n * Ownership of the interrelationships across project schedules and taking actions to address risks\n\nSkills & Experience\n\n * Experience delivering projects in a highly regulated industry\n\n * HNC/HND or similar in a relevant field (preferably electrical)\n\n * Project Management qualification ()\n\n * Must be eligible to obtain SC clearance as a minimum\n\n * Strong, demonstrable understanding of all phases of a project life cycle
