Mech Tech Professionals have an opportunity available for an EC&I Construction Manager to work on a temporary contract based in Reading, Berkshire.\nOur client, one of the UK's leading engineering and maintenance providers, require a competent professional to start with them immediately.\nThis project scope is Outside IR35.\nOverview:\nWhilst working at an atomic weapon establishment, the EC&I Construction Manager (Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation Construction Manager) will oversee the installation and construction activities related to electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation/industrial or infrastructure projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Planning and coordination of EC&I construction work to meet project timelines and quality standards\n * Support the Project Manager as required, ensuring the project is managed effectively and efficiently\n * Identify key project risks, blockers and opportunities\n * Managing contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.\n * Building effective project teams and manage resources ensuring adequate levels to meet programme demands and high workforce productivity\n * Assess programmes of work for viability, priority and required resources to maximise the success of the programme\n * Ensure that suitable commercial control is in place and managed accordingly\nSkills & Experience:\n * Security Clearance (Essential) or/candidates must be eligible to obtain SC clearance\n * HNC/HND or similar in a relevant field (preferably electrical field)\n * Project Management qualification ()\n * Strong understanding of NEC contract management ()\n * Experience delivering projects in a highly regulated industry\nFurther details to be discussed during the on-boarding stage
