We are a well established commercial drywall subcontractor based in Southwest Chicago! We are actively looking for an experienced drywall estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for drywall projects
• Prepare comprehensive proposals and bids for clients
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to determine project requirements and timelines
• Maintain and update cost databases and pricing information
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing when necessary
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and conditions
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations

Qualifications

• 1+ year commercial drywall estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of EIFS, Stucco, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling systems ()
