We’re looking for a dynamic leader to take the reins of our HVAC service department — someone who embodies Respect, Integrity, and Responsiveness, and thrives on developing teams, driving performance, and delivering a five-star customer experience.

As our HVAC Service Manager, you’ll lead a team of skilled technicians, oversee daily operations, and play a pivotal role in coaching and training — especially in technician-driven sales performance. We’re a fast-paced, forward-thinking company that uses ServiceTitan, and we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, build trust, and elevate our service team to the next level.

What You’ll Do:

·         Lead, coach, and develop residential and light commercial HVAC technicians

·         Drive technician performance through ride-alongs, KPI tracking, and sales training

·         Oversee scheduling and dispatch coordination to optimize team productivity

·         Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor new technicians

·         Conduct regular one-on-ones and team meetings to reinforce training, safety, and company values

·         Manage daily job flow, ensuring quality workmanship and excellent customer service

·         Resolve customer escalations professionally, upholding our values at all times

·         Coordinate with install, and dispatch departments to align operations

·         Oversee truck stock to ensure technicians are set up for success

·         Review job performance reports, invoices, and billing to maintain healthy cash flow

·         Set departmental goals and ensure technician buy-in through effective communication and leadership

·         Use Service Titan to manage workflows, analyze trends, and improve operational efficiency

·         Promote and develop maintenance agreements, and assist with estimating/bidding when needed

What You Bring to the Table:

·         5+ years of HVAC service experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role

·         In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC systems (troubleshooting, repair, and installation)

·         Experience using Service Titan or similar CRM/field service platforms ()

·         Strong sales acumen and ability to train technicians in ethical, performance-based selling

·         A passion for mentoring and developing people — you believe your success is tied to your team’s

·         Ability to hold others accountable with professionalism and empathy

·         Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

·         Bonus: Training from CertainPath, Nexstar, EGIA, or similar programs

Schedule:

• Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts
• Occasional after-hours/on-call support as needed (leadership presence only)
