Job Opening: Geotechnical Drilling Helper

Mathes Drilling is seeking a reliable and hardworking Geotechnical Drilling Helper to join our team.

Location

    •    Based out of Breckinridge County, Kentucky

    •    Applicants must live within 1 hour of Breckinridge County

    •    Travel to job sites within 2–3 hours may be required owner provides support truck

Pay

    •    $18–$23 per hour, based on experience

Job Responsibilities

    •    Assist drill operators with geotechnical drilling operations

    •    Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

    •    Perform heavy lifting and physical labor such as lifting weighing from 30 to 70 pounds.

    •    Assist with operation and maintenance of heavy equipment

    •    Support job site setup, breakdown, and cleanup such as taking drill rig off of trailer , strapping down rig, unstrapping rig, point setting rig, etc

    •    Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements

    •    Valid driver’s license (required)

    •    CDL , but not required

    •    Comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment

    •    Flexible availability and willingness to travel for job assignments out of town at times.

    •    Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
