Drainage Maintenance EngineerReactive & Planned MaintenanceLocation: Abingdon, OxfordSalary: £ 17.50 basic with overtime and calloutJob Type: Full-time / PermanentAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Drainage Maintenance Engineer to join our clients growing team carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance works across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.This is a mobile role suited to someone who is hands-on, reliable, and experienced in diagnosing and resolving drainage issues while delivering high standards of customer service.This division is brand new to the company and has great career progression opportunities to grow and lead a teamKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out reactive drainage repairs and emergency calloutsPerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on drainage systemsInvestigate blockages, leaks, and drainage faultsHigh-pressure water jetting and system cleansingCCTV drainage surveys and fault identificationMaintenance and minor repairs to drainage infrastructureComplete job reports and maintenance records accuratelyEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with company proceduresProvide professional customer service on-siteRequirementsPrevious experience as a drainage maintenance engineer or utilities maintenanceKnowledge of reactive and planned maintenance proceduresExperience with jetting equipment and drainage systemsCCTV survey experience, live coding, fault finding and reportingOS19x preferredFull UK driving licenceGood problem-solving and communication skillsPump station/treatment plant experience desiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamConfined Space and HPWJ certifications requiredWhat We OfferGreat salary and overtime opportunitiesOngoing training and career developmentCompany vehicleHoliday package that increases annuallyJDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.JDRNewportWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
