Domestic Gas Surveyor

R9 Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Gas Surveyor/Gas Auditor to join our clients team across two key areas: Camden/Ealing.

All work will be carried out in primarily void council properties.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00

17:00 Pay: Paid weekly (one week in arrears) with a guaranteed day rate

Job Responsibilities:

Carry out comprehensive gas system surveys with attention to compliance and health & safety

Assess boiler conditions and cap off units where required to meet safety standards

Identify and record faults within gas appliances and infrastructure

Produce clear and detailed inspection reports

Complete up to five property surveys per day whilst maintaining efficiency and accuracy

Ensure all findings are accurately documented and submitted in a timely manner

Essential Skills:

Skilled in fault diagnosis and boiler capping

Strong written communication for detailed reporting

Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Gas Surveyor or Gas Auditor

ACS Certification

Public Liability Insurance

Own Gas Safe Card

Clean DBS check
