Domestic Gas Engineer

Our Client;



Domestic Gas Engineer / Heating Engineer required for our client, they are a Domestic and Commercial Heating Contractor based in Leeds. They specialise in residential, industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suit of plant room re-fit, service, and repair works. The Domestic Gas Engineer will travel throughout the East Lothian, West Lothian, and Edinburgh and will attend domestic heating breakdown, repair and service work.



Domestic Gas Engineer Key Responsibilities



- Service, repair, and maintain gas appliances and systems in domestic properties including social and private housing

- Identify and diagnose problems with gas appliances and systems

- Replace or repair gas appliances and systems as needed

- Maintenance and repair to HIU systems

- Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently



Domestic Gas Engineer Requirements



- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating

- ACS Domestic Gas Tickets

- ACS Commercial Gas Tickets (Advantageous)

- Based in within a commutable distance of East Lothian, West Lothian, and Edinburgh

- Full UK Driving License



Domestic Gas Engineer Remuneration



- Salary £40,000 - £45,000

- Travel pay

- Overtime available

- Call out 1 in 7/8 (£180 for standby)
