Job Title: Document Controller
Location: Cheshunt, Office
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Package
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join a leading residential developer to work in the Legacy Works Team. Based out of an office in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. This role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to play a key part in managing project documentation for one of the UK’s leading residential developers.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage all project documentation in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Ensure accurate and timely distribution of documents to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Help manage document control systems, including electronic filing and version control.
Monitor document compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth document flow.
Track and report on document status, ensuring deadlines are met.
Support audits and quality assurance processes by providing accurate documentation records.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of document control systems and software (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, or similar).
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for liaising with multiple stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
