Document Controller\n\nTitle: Document Controller\n\nLocation: Swindon\n\nSalary: £35,000 to £40,000 + package\n\nSector: Main Contractor / Construction\n\nStart Date: ASAP / Immediate\n\nDocument Controller – The Company\n\nOur client is a growing and well-funded construction business currently expanding its in-house contracting capability across the South of England.\n\nBacked by a substantial wider Healthcare development group, the business delivers high-specification construction projects with a strong focus on quality, coordination, and professional delivery standards.\n\nWith multiple live and upcoming projects, the company is continuing to invest in building a strong operational and support team.\n\nDocument Controller – The Role\n\nBased from the Swindon office with 1 day remote working available, the Document Controller will support project and operational teams by managing project documentation and ensuring information is controlled accurately across live construction projects.\n\nYou will work closely with design, commercial, and site teams to ensure drawings, technical information, and project records are issued, tracked, and maintained correctly.\n\nTypical duties & responsibilities:\n\n * Managing project documentation across multiple live projects\n\n * Uploading and distributing drawings and technical information\n\n * Maintaining document control systems and registers\n\n * Ensuring document revisions are tracked accurately\n\n * Supporting project teams with information management\n\n * Coordinating consultant and subcontractor document submissions\n\n * Managing project filing systems and records\n\n * Supporting compliance and QA documentation requirements\n\n * Assisting with project reporting and administration\n\nDocument Controller – The Person\n\n * Previous experience within document control or construction administration\n\n * Experience working within construction or main contracting environments \n\n * Strong organisational and administrative skills\n\n * Good IT and document management system knowledge\n\n * High attention to detail\n\n * Strong communication skills\n\n * Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
