Document Controller\n\nLocation: Slough\n\nAbout Ferrovial Construction\n\nFerrovial Construction is the engineering and construction arm of the Ferrovial Group. Ferrovial are committed to developing sustainable and innovative solutions, with the aim to create value for society, and for clients, investors and employees.\n\nThe role\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nThe role involves looking after implementation of Document Control Procedures and following the HAL Employers Requirements and Specification. The role will be not limited to the following list of deliverables:\n\nResponsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.\n\n * EDMS support for projects and departments.\n\n * QA document checking.\n\n * Manage the administration of EDMS (Workflows, access rights, distributions, etc.)\n\n * Assist in preparing and managing documentation internally/by subcontractor.\n\n * Train project personnel in using the system and document control procedures.\n\n * Asset Integration (NOT ESSENTIAL)\n\n * Coordinating the compilation of assets registers and H&S Files.\n\n * Registering key assets to Asset Net/MAXINET and running required reports for PM to raise visibility of assets delivered/ installed and scheduled/ planned for delivery.\n\n * Liaison and coordination with site team for production of handover information documentation.\n\nKey accountabilities\n\n * Document Control\n\n * Stakeholder relationships\n\n * Handover Compliance with Client and industry standards, requirements and regulations\n\n * Coordinate solutions with the Construction team\n\n * Promote innovation, efficiencies and value engineering\n\nSkills & experience\n\n * Proven Work Experience as Document Controller\n\n * Hands-on Experience with MS Office and MS365 Package\n\n * Admin level knowledge of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), such as Asite (preferrable)\n\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills.\n\n * Data organisation skills, attention to detail and proactivity\n\n * Experience in construction section (not essential/desirable)\n\n * Asset integration knowledge (not essential/desirable)\n\nFerrovial embraces and and we see the value in providing equal opportunities to all employees.
