Document Controller
Location: Katy, TX
Type: Contract
Experience: 2–5+ Years

We are seeking a Document Controller with strong experience in document management in and EPC or Manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation using Aconex, ensuring timely processing, tracking and control of engineering drawings, vendor documents and technical packages.
• Compile and manage mechanical completion books and job books, ensuring accuracy, structure, and compliance with company and customer standards.
• Maintain all project documentation using an electronic document management system (EDMS).
• Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation packages.
• Ensure documents are reviewed, approved, and version-controlled according to internal procedures.
• Coordinate distribution of current document revisions and ensure outdated files are removed from circulation.
• Interface with internal teams, vendors, and clients to meet documentation and quality deliverables.
• Provide regular status reports on document progress and mechanical completion packages.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of document control experience, preferably in an EPC or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical documentation, and quality documentation standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam Sessions and/or Bluebeam Projects
